• American cranberry – standardized extract (40% proanthocyanidins type A). The plant has a clinically proven effect against urinary tract infections. The French Food Safety Agency announces the American cranberry as the only fruit to treat against the bacteria Escherichia coli. The extract locates the E.coli bacteria and detaches it from the walls of the urinary tract. It can then be excreted from the body. Unlike antibiotics, the extract works specifically on disease-causing E. coli without harming beneficial bacteria.
